Controlling your Split Pressurised or Thermosyphon Solar Hot Water System
These units are the brains of a solar hot water system and can even be used for swimming pool heating. This versatile system allows up to 3 temperature sensors to be placed around the circuit. Depending on your setup the pump and auxiliary heater can also be wired into the terminal box.
These controllers offer the following functions:
- Saving energy - Only switches on the pump when the collector is warm enough to heat the tank water.
- Frost protection - Recirculates warm tank water to the collector to prevent the circuit freezing.
- Anti-Legionnaires' function
- Aux. boosting - Programmable control or manual override of a boosting unit.
- Safety cut-out - Extra layer of protection to prevent the collector and tank from overheating.
- Neat wiring - The terminal box with all the cabling can be situated out-of-sight while the neat digital display can be situated prominently in a room.
